Every once in a while, we see some incredible use of technology and wish that we’d been there to see it. Or better yet, that we’d gotten to work on it, since it’s always fun to try and figure out the logistics.

To get a sense of the scale of this colossal undertaking:
– The Hoover Dam is equivalent to 87 IMAX screens or 9 football fields
– The projection required 60 projectors of 26,000 watts each, equalling 1.17 million lumens
The project also shattered the Guinness World Record for highest light output projection.
Given the location, guess we don’t have to wonder where the power came from.
