CONDÉ NAST - WIRED

THE BIG INTERVIEW

WIRED is Condé Nast's flagship technology publication and a cultural institution that has defined how the world thinks about the future for over three decades. As a brand, WIRED operates at the intersection of journalism, influence, and creativity. Its events are extensions of that editorial identity: high-touch, high-visibility, and expected to feel as considered as the magazine itself.

Experience

The Big Interview was a full day of one-on-one conversations curated by WIRED’s own editors and journalists, led by Global Editorial Director Katie Drummond. The transformation of The Midway began outside, where sun-soaked spaces gave attendees room to decompress between sessions. Inside, the mainstage hosted San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, Jon M. Chu, and a spectrum of voices spanning the tech industry. The Science Fair turned the expo floor into a live showcase of technology in action: Brelyon’s headset-free XR racing simulator, Skip’s MO/GO exoskeleton, NASA-born airless tires from SMART Tire, and Kohler Health’s Dekoda reframing the bathroom as a personal health tool. Parked just outside, a custom WIRED-branded Airstream served as a private interview studio — and on day two, it traveled to Berkeley, where student interviews and the reveal of WIRED’s new tagline extended the story beyond the venue.
